ElevenLabs sometimes adds words that aren’t in your script. A stray “um,” an extra “and,” or an inserted word. It happens more with complex text — numbers, abbreviations, unusual names. You learn to proof-listen, but it’s an extra step.

v3 improved this, but extreme emotions still trip it up. Shouting sounds compressed. Crying sounds fake. Whispering can sound breathy in an unnatural way. Normal conversational tone? Perfect. Anything dramatic? Needs manual tweaking.
